That's where the nagging problem begins. Those essential fatty acids that are being stored away combine with two other essential fatty acids and a glycerol molecule to generate what’s known as a triglyceride. Triglycerides are extremely big, and for their size aren’t in a position to exit the fat cells like those free-flowing essential fatty acids can. As a result, triglycerides become stubborn body fat that is so difficult to get rid of incredibly. “But here’s finished .,” Flatt said. “Those triglycerides can be targeted, and they can be damaged back down into those fatty acids that may be burned by the body for energy. In fact, when we break down those triglycerides, it’s kind of like dumping rocket gasoline into the vehicle’s gas tank. Those divided triglycerides overflow the physical body with a great source of energy it actually wants to burn.” Flatt designed The 3 Week Diet never to only breakdown existing triglycerides, but to prevent the body from forming new ones. How To Lose Weight Fast For Women Tip #6: Set realistic and measurable goals A lot of people give up on a training or fat loss program after a week or so because they did not see the results they were expecting. First of all, you have to remember that you didn't get fat overnight. So you should not expect a miracle weight loss to happen as well. It should always recommend an exercise program – Weight Loss without exercise is a recipe for disaster because following a diet without exercise will lead to loss of lean muscle tissue, loss of lean muscle tissue will lead to slower metabolism which in turn will make you gain all the weight back, loss of muscle would also mean that your body will not look toned anymore. There are a lot ads which say “Lose weight without exercise”, “Lose weight without workout”, “No gym lose weight” …Not a healthy idea as no exercise will only lead loss muscle which will only slow down your metabolism .For healthy weight loss you don’t have to do hardcore exercises but something as simple as brisk walking and body weight exercises should definitely be part of the program. 2. It should always recommend a balance diet – No weight loss program can be healthy if it does not recommend complete spectrum of nutrients. It should recommend carbs, it should recommend protein and healthy fat on daily basis, the ratios may vary but it should include all these nutrients on daily basis. Following a crash diet will restrict the amount of nutrients to your system thereby leading to nutritional deficiencies like poor skin and hair quality, increasing the risk osteoporosis, elevated levels of bad cholesterol, increased risk of heart disease etc. Doing only low calorie protein diets or doing only low carb high protein diet or doing only mono diets will lead to nutritional deficiencies and will only mess up your metabolism in long run. 3. It should set realistic goals in terms of Weight Loss – There are lots of programs which will promise you insane amount of weight loss in a quick span of time and they may even be successful but such drastic reduction of weight (in a short span of time) is not healthy and cannot be sustained in the long run, the moment you resume normal diet all the weight comes back. According to me healthy weight loss should be anywhere close to One kg or two pounds per week, I know it sounds less but if multiply this over a period of 2 months you have lost 8 kgs and if you take it further it can be as much as 12 -15 kgs in 4 months ….best part is you will be able to sustain it and still look healthy. 4. It should always recommend a lifestyle change – A diet that you cannot do for more than 7 days do you really think you can make it part of your lifestyle, lot of fad diets like low carb diet, high fat high protein diet are unsustainable to follow after a few weeks and cannot be made part of your lifestyle. Look for programs which recommend healthy habits like exercise, eating balanced diet on regular basis which can be made part of your lifestyle. 5. It should advocate health and fitness – Using chemicals and weight loss pills to lose weight quickly is not healthy at all because all medicines have side effects, not to forget you can’t be on medicines forever, the moment you are off them you gain all the weight back. When you are signing up for any weight loss program your first priority has be your health like how to reach your ideal weight, how to reduce bad cholesterol level, how it can help reach an optimal level of health and fitness. Weight gain can pose major medical risks such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke and joint pain. Weighing yourself regularly and keeping track of your weight loss can help you prepare for long term success. Weigh yourself regularly. Studies have shown that weighing yourself on a daily basis can help you maintain your weight loss goals. It gives you a regular method for being accountable to yourself. Try to weigh yourself every day so you can get a sense of which forms of exercise and nutrition work best for you. However, if you have a history of eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia, do not weigh yourself daily as this can trigger a relapse of your disorder. Weigh yourself at the same time every day. Most doctors recommend weighing yourself in the morning as your weight is more likely to fluctuate over the course of the day. Wear the same thing when you weigh yourself. It's best if you can weigh yourself while you are naked as heavy shoes, sweaters and other pieces of clothing can contribute to an inaccurate number on the scale. Buy a scale. If you want to weigh yourself everyday at home, you need to own a scale. The most common forms of scales are digital scales; these are scales that will produce a numeric value on a tiny screen once you step on them. Name the first column "Date" and the second column "Weight." Fill in the date and weight data that you currently weigh. If you want to keep just a simple log of your weight and its corresponding date on which you weighed yourself, you could just use these two columns here to record your progress. If you do not have Excel, you can also try using Google Sheets, which is available for free on-line. You can find it if you type "Google Sheets" into the Google search engine. Create a line graph for your weight loss. If you want to take the data you have entered into the date and weight columns and turn it into a line graph chart, you can see the ups and downs in your weight loss journey. Open the Excel Fluent Ribbon by going to the Insert tab and then selecting Charts. A number of different chart templates will appear in the upper left corner of the spreadsheet.
