These are really easy, simple, healthy recipes (cause I've been busy AF lately) lol. so hope you can find these easy recipes helpful like I do! Let's start with the first way and that's responsibility. You have to take responsibility for the way your body looks and the way your body feels. Nobody will take responsibility for you. It's not up to your doctor it's not up to your family or your friends it's not even up to your personal trainer to ensure that you get into shape. Its solely up to you. Nobody can make the decision for you. You're bodies present state today is a collection of the decisions that you've made over the course of last couple days, weeks, months, and years. Which means if you want to change it permanently you have to also change the decisions that you're making on a daily basis. But before you can feel power over the decisions that you make you have to take full responsibility for your body. Taking responsibility doesn't mean that everything has to be your fault. It's obviously not your fault if your were born with a thyroid condition, or if you're not naturally athletic, or if you have asthma. None of these are any more your fault than someone that's born short rather than tall. However, you should take the responsibility to work on yourself from where you are now. Not everyone is dealt the same hand in life. Some people have easier starting points than others, but wherever you are it is solely your responsibility to take it in whatever direction you choose. You don't get up every day and brush your teeth because it's fun you do it because it's necessary for your teeth to not fall out. Well it's necessary for you to be physically active not for just parts of your life to quickly get into shape, but for your whole life. It's necessary for you to not overindulge in processed food. You have a physical body because you were meant to be physically active and it's your responsibility to stay Physically Active your whole life. Not do a workout program for a couple weeks and then stop for a couple months and then start again to lose the weight and then stop again and gain the weight back. Because everytime you stop no matter what reason you come up with you are refusing to take responsibility. And then you fall down a slippery slope and make it harder and harder to take responsibility. Having this kind of mental disposition gives you control which is actually my second tip. You are in control. To be in control of your body means that you have a choice. In order for you to have a choice you have to align yourself with the nurture perspective over the nature perspective. To put it simply with the nature perspective the spotlight is on genetics and there's no denying that genetics exist but with nature, your usually giving your genes more credit and more control than yourself and your actions. With nurture yes of course genes will infulence certain traits, but your environment plays a much larger role. It's so important to align with the right belief system because a persons thoughts and actions are highly influenced by their beliefs. The people that believe that everything is up to nature express statements like, "I'm not athletic"

So today I want to go over the 10 most effective exercises for weight loss that you could do right in your own living room. The exercises that i go over today require no equipment and the reason why theyre more effective than others is because they're going to work mulriple joints and muscle groups at the same time and theyre gonna get your heart rate and your breathing rate up way up. You can combine all of these exercises into one workout simply by using on and off intervals. The training style that I recommend for this type of workout is short intervals. 20 seconds on and then ten seconds off then repeat each exercise for 8 rounds before taking a minute break and moving on to the next. Training in a high intensity way like this will allow you to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Before I jump into the first one I do have to State the obvious and that's the fact that if you want to lose weight or burn fat you do have to make sure that you're keeping it clean in the kitchen as well. These arent magical exercises that was somehow counterbalance eating junk everyday. But by doing this work out a couple times a week and watching what you eat I'm sure that anyone can lose weight and body fat with these exercises. Let's start with number 1. its a combination of jumping jacks and burpees. Burpees are by far one of the most effective exercises to get your heart rate up while also working your upper and your lower body. Most people know how to do a jumping jack start standing straight up then jump your feet out and raise your arms over your head and you're going to do that 5 times. Then you would perform the burpee by bending your back and lowering yourself down to the ground. As you place your hands on the floor. Next you're going to jump your feet out and get into a push-up position lower yourself down for the push-up then hop your feet back in and jump up. If this is too advanced for you you can walk your feet out one foot at a time instead of hoping. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or advanced the sequence is five jumping jacks one Burpee 5 jumping jacks one Burpee back and forth. Next we have the mountain climber sit through drill. For this one you're going to perform 4 mountain climbers for every two sit throughs. Most people know how to do mountain climbers. These are the same mountain climbers that you've probably done in gym class. Every time that you hop one of your knees up to your chest it counts as one. So you shuffle your feet 4 times and then you do 2 sit throughs. The sit through is done by starting in a pushup postion then lifting one hand off the ground and your opposite leg off the ground. Bring your hand up to your head and kick your opposite leg through as you turn your hips and your body enough for your butt to barely tap the ground. Then return back to the pushup position and repeat for the other side. Once you're done with those 2 sit throughs go right back to mountain climbers. Next is the plyo step up. This one is not only great for your footwork, balance, and coordination, but it's also a great exercise to burn a bunch of calories. All you need is a step below knee level. You can use a low chair or even the bottom stair ledge in your house. Start with one foot on the platform, put your weight on that foot and jump up as you switch your feet. Do this back and forth repeating for the full time. I know it doesn't look like much, but like I said you will be breathing heavy after doing this one for 20 seconds straight and especially after eight rounds. If you have knee problems and can't jump up and down you can just alternate stepping up side to side. Moving on to exercise number four the spider man pushup. This one does require a lot of upper body strength so if you're a beginner just stick to regular pushups or you can also do pushups on your knees if regular pushups are too hard. The key with all of these exercises is to perform the exercise in the most intense way that you can and then regress as it gets harder. So you can start by doing a couple reps of the spiderman pushups and then when it gets too hard do regular pushups and finally when you start to fail and give out with those you can drop to your knees for a few more forced reps. But the spider man pushup is done by simply starting in a pushup position and then as you come down for a pushup bring one knee up to your elbow.

As you’re doing that, extend your arms straight out in front of you to help keep your balance. -Get down on the floor, place your hands directly under your shoulders, plant your toes firmly on the ground, and squeeze those glutes to stabilize your body. -Lift the dumbbells over your head until your elbows are locked. From this position, lower the dumbbells out the sides at shoulder-level and then, lift them up again. -Lean your torso slightly forward and bend your knees a bit. Then, raise your arms up so that your body forms the letter Y. From this position, lower your arms out to the sides and make the letter T. -Make an elliptical your new best friend if you want to have a toned and gorgeous body. Insulin is a fat storage hormone and it is directly linked too fat loss. If you want to burn fat the fastest way to do it is by controlling and lowering your insulin levels. Insulin is released to control your blood sugar by shuttling glucose into your muscles and your liver to be used for energy. When your insulin levels are hi your body cannot burn fat. In fact It has no need to burn fat because your body can get plenty of energy from the glucose thats in your bloodstream that triggered the insulin to be released to begin with. The worst part is that not only does insulin block fat loss but it also causes the body to store excess glucose as fat. However all hope is not lost you have another hormone known as glucagon that pretty much has the inverse function. After depleting stored glucose from your muscles and from your liver your blood sugar will begin to drop. When your blood sugar drops too low glucagon can actually raise your blood sugar by converting glycerol in your fat cells into glucose for fuel. Glucagon also signals the fat cells to release free fatty acids in a process known as lipolysis. To put it simply glucagon signals the body to release stored fat to be used as fuel. There are many studies that compare the effects of these two hormones insulin and glucagon. But my favorite is one of the simplest where a group of researchers studied the effects of these two hormones on rats. The study was published in the Journal of Comparative and Physiological Psychology In this study half of the rats where injected with insulin and the other half were injected with glucagon. The rats that received the insulin gained body fat and ate more. The rats that received the glucagon lost body fat. Now nobody's going to be injecting you with glucagon but there are ways that you could naturally lower your insulin levels and increase your glucagon levels through diet. And these 3 diets that I'm about to go over do exactly that in the most effective way. As long as blood sugar is available your body will preferentially burn that for fuel over fat. So what is the best way to lower blood sugar in the shortest amount of time? The answer is our first dye method that we're going to go over and that's fasting. There is no better way to lower insulin levels and lower blood sugar levels then not eating at all. Now I'm not advocating for you to starve because that usually leads to a binge which leads to a very high spike in blood sugar and insulin storing any kind of fat that you might have lost right back if not more. But I do highly recommend that you try a couple simple fasting approaches such as intermittent fasting which involves a 16 hour fast followed by an 8 Hour feeding window. A little bit of a more advanced version of fasting would be a 20-hour fast followed by a four hour feeding period this is typically referred to as The Warrior Diet. And even more advanced than that would be the one meal a day diet where you would fast for the entire day and only eat one meal. After that comes your longer-duration fasts where you don't eat anyting for 2 to 7 days. Although I don't recommend these for beginners fasting for longer durations is scientifically proven to be the most effective way to lower blood sugar and insulin levels while simultaneously increasing glucagon levels. Meaning there is no other diet approach out there that will lower your insulin and burn fat quite as much as fasting. And this makes perfect sense because even protein can be converted into glucose and can spike your insulin. But if you eat nothing at all the only thing that your body has to work off of for energy after depleting your liver and your muscles of glycogen is stored energy in the form of fat. Again don't worry if you're not willing to not eat for 7 days that's something that I only recommend to people that have a lot of experience

And based on the thousands of clients that I've worked with in my gyms and online this process can be broken down into 3 major keys that determine whether you will be successful with losing weight and body fat or not. So in today's video I want to give you these 3 keys so you can unlock your bodies full fat burning abilities. If you make sure that you do all three of these things you will burn fat faster than ever before and keep it off permanently. Let's start with the first key. The model for burning fat has always looked like this. If you take too many calories in from food and you don't burn enough calories from exercise you gain fat and vice versa if you have less calories than you burn you'll lose fat. Everyone knows that, we've been told that over and over again since we were little kids. That means that the traditional model suggests that the reason you have excess fat or your carry extra weight is because you have too many calories. And the unspoken reason behind this model for why you have too many calories is because of a lack of willpower. You have excess body fat because it's your fault for not having enough self control and willpower to just consume fewer calories. However, this doesn't match up with your experience. Based on you own personal experience you know that when you have fewer calories you lose a couple pounds and then you usually get stuck. You continue eating fewer calories and feeling like your starving yourself eating bland boring foods you hate, but you never hit your target weight. This goes on for a while...you get discouraged...and then you quit because no one can stay on a restrictive low calorie diet for the long haul especially when its not producing results. Well, guess what I'm here to tell you its not entirely your fault. And I don't mean that in some cliche cheesy way, I mean quite literally its not only because you don't have enough willpower or self control even though for some of you that may be a big contributing factor. Make no mistake you will need will power to burn fat, but this isn't the only cause. In reality if we only look at calories in and calories out your not addressing the core cause of the problem. You see burning fat and losing weight is not just about using willpower to starve yourself by eating less and exercising more, because your body is way too smart for that. Within just a week after decreasing calories coming in your body will automatically decrease calories coming out. Many people refer to this process as your body entering into a so called "starvation mode." This is where your metabolism will slow down causing your fat loss to slow to almost nothing. Not only does your body slow your metabolism and this is proven over and over again in study after study, but it also increases the production of a hormone known as ghrelin. Ghrelins role is to signal your brain to make you feel hungry. So to sum up this whole torturous dieting process up you now have less calories coming in, less calories coming out due to your body responding with a slower metabolism, you're hungrier because of ghrelin, yet you're not burning much fat. In fact the situation begins to feel like you need to keep cutting calories just to maintain your current body fat rather than to lose more. And that's ultimately what discourages you and causes you to quit. Starting the whole cycle over again months later when you're probably in even worse shape than you were before. So what are we missing? Well it turns out your willpower is actually not the core cause of this problem it's actually also a hormonal problem rather than just a calorie problem. Once you understand this fat loss becomes easy and keeping it off is even easier. People think that when calories come in they keep going out until you eat too many calories and then your body starts storing those excess calories as fat. Even though this is part of how fat loss works unfortunately it's not so simple. When calories come in your body chooses whether it will store a portion of those calories even if you didn't cross over your total daily calorie allowance. Most of us are looking for a simple yet effective way to lose weight for good with no effort. An American Journal of Clinical Nutrition study found that well-rested people burn 20% more calories after eating than those who don’t get enough sleep.
