Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano and coriander, salt, cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add tomatoe sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Diet to lose weight. What I eat in a day , Carb cycling. Low Carb Diet. Burn Fats Fast | Calories Deficit, High Protein, Weight Loss, Food for losing fat, healthy food. healthy way to lose weight Hey guys. This is my current diet plan. Just started this carb cycling diet for over a week and i've lost about a kg. I'm pretty sure loads of it is just water weight since I cut down my carbs. I am still full of energy so i figured it is doing pretty well! Please remember I am very petite and 5'1 so I don't need to take in lots of calories to maintain my weight. To maintain my weight, I only need around 1550-1600 cal per day so I brought it down to around 1250-1300 per day now if I don't exercise. I still have two normal higher carbs days. Everyone is different and our body burn at a different rate so you would have to trail and error and see what is the calories intake to maintain your weight. I also increase my cal intake on the days i exercise! Also another reason why I count calories is because I don't want to be too under calories because then my body will burn off some of the muscles that I've built. I try really hard to built my muscles so I am not going to starve to just to lose some weight because that is counter intuitive. I am only on a 200-300 cal deficit, and for 5 days a week. If I add up my calories for the whole week, I am only approx 13% under at MOST which is a very small number. When I do intense exercises, or any exercises, I increase my calories intake. I am in no way starving myself and I will never do that. I only want to lose a bit of fats and you have to be in cal deficit to lose some fats. Counting calories can be such a sensitive subject but that is the best way for me to lose some weight without losing muscle mass and doing it in the healthy way. Also, the reason why I decided to lose some weight is because I've gained quite a bit of fats around my waist line. I've talked about this in my previous video. I've started doing hiit exercises. I want to get really defined abs for my summer holiday so that's the reason why i'm cutting too. I've been bulking for the last couple of months and now it's time to lose some fats. I'm going to be on this diet for another week and see how it goes. I am not looking to be super skinny because that's what i'm not looking for. Also another thing that I didn't mentioned in this video is that I cut off all the fats from the chicken and also I only used heart smart minced beef, basically the minced beef has got barely any fats. I only take lean meats when i'm cutting. Chicken thighs, scotch fillet, t-bone, lamb are a lot higher in fats, so higher calories. Try to choose lean meat! Cauliflower or any veg is a great way to have carbs because it is so low in calories. Per 100g of cooked cauliflower gives you only 33 Calories. Most vegetables are really low in calories so try to eat more vege and less processed food. The whole day of food macro was: 1250 cal 132g Protein 94g Carbs 45g Fats Nice apps to track your macro are My Fitness Pal or Cronometer. I'll also add the measurement of my food shortly. I know that might surprise some of you but it's definitely possible to even eat ice cream and still burn fat. That's right portion size is probably the biggest determining factor of whether you'll lose weight or not. Contrary to mainstream beliefs you can gain weight eating healthy food like brown rice chicken breast and broccoli and you can lose weight eating processed food like plain pasta and meatballs if you limit your portions. However to achieve the best body composition after burning the fat away it's best to eat healthy real food instead of junk food while still also controlling that portion size. So what is considered healthy real food. Well it's definitely nothing that you buy that has a picture of what you're buying on the box along with a long list of ingredients. This is going to be natural mostly single ingredient foods. For carbs for example you want to stick to natural sources that are low glycemic. Some examples are brown rice, yams, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, quinoa, beans, legumes, lentils, all bran, ezekeil cereals and breads, and brown rice pasta. Any kind of carb that digests slowly and doesn't Spike insulin is a great choice. Even Moderate glycemic carbs like fruit are okay when trying to burn fat but again it's all about portions. If you're eating six fruits a day plus other carbs you're not going to lose weight or burn fat. Focus on getting 1 to 3 servings of carbs per day depending on how much you weigh. a serving size for carbs would be considered a fist. So a fruit would be considered a full serving of carbs if it's the size of your fist. Next you want to make sure that you have a lot of protein when trying to burn fat. I'm not saying that you can't burn fat on a low protein diet but it is a lot harder then on a high protein diet. Even though for years especially in the 70s and 80s doctors were saying that bodybuilders are crazy for having so much protein in their diet it seems that many doctors have changed their minds and now for weight loss many of them advocate a high protein diet. A big reason is because of the thermogenic effect of foods. Certain foods will require more calories for digestion. Many sources of protein will use 40% of their calories for the digestion process. So in a way you end up with a lot less calories to use for energy from protein then you do from carbohydrates or fats. When your body doesn't have enough energy from your diet that's when it pulls that energy from fat stores. So eating a lot of protein helps create a negative calorie balance because a lot of it gets used for digestion and also especially because protein is also very filling. So with all that said try to get about one gram of protein per pound of body weight when trying to burn fat. That usually turns out to be about one palm of protein 5 times a day again this will vary based on your weight. If you want to have Five Palms of protein in one meal and only eat once a day you can do that or if you want to spread out throughout the day you can do that as well. Good sources of protein for fat loss include fish especially lean Whitefish, chicken breast, turkey breast, lean turkey, shellfish, greek yogurt, lean pork, cottage cheese, tofu, eggs, and especially egg whites. And then finally for fat you want good natural sources of fat such as avocados, salmon or egg yolks which would count as both protein and fat......, nut butters, pasture raised organic butters, olive oil, nuts, and coconut oil. If you're eating carbs in your plan then you can have one to two tablespoons of fat per day or about half an avocado per day or a handful of nuts per day. Once again this depends on how much you weigh some people will have more some people will have less. Also it's very possible to lose a lot of body fat through a ketogenic diet in which you have a very high amount of dietary fat throughout the day however most keto plans take out carbohydrates entirely.

Today I'm sharing the simple healthy eating habits that I use every day. These are the eating habits I use to stay healthy. I don't prescribe to a diet to be healthy or lose weight because I think it's restrictive and isn't something that is easy to stick to. I'm OK eating fats, sugars, and calories, but it's just about doing it in a healthier way. So, these healthy eating habits are something you can easily adopt in your everyday eating. IMPORTANT: I want to note this isn't all about weight loss. I'm not saying I was overweight before at all. But, I wasn't eating healthy or nourishing my body. I ate unhealthy portions and unhealthy foods. Like I do everything right, I lift heavy weights, I do tons of cardio, i eat 6 small meals a day, I don't eat past 6 at night, and I still can't see my abs. I can't figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong... What's up guys my names Max and in today's video I want to go over the 9 foods you should never eat again if you want a six pack and if you want to lose weight. Since you've probably already realized that ice cream is one of them let's start with ice cream first. First of all ice cream is super high in sugar which can lead to weight gain, increased levels of blood triglycerides and diabetes. When you have a high spike in blood sugar which ice cream will definitely cause you to have your body reacts by releasing a lot of insulin. When insulin levels are high in your body it's literally impossible for you to burn fat and it's very easy for you to gain weight. Couple this with the fact that most ice creams will have at least 300 calories in just one cup and you'll easily see how ice cream is one of the worst foods to eat when trying to burn fat. Another food thats terrible for you if you want to see your abs and its also just as bad for your health...and that food is popcorn. Almost all microwave popcorn varieties come in a bag that is lined with perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). This chemical is the same toxic stuff found in teflon pots and pans. And This chemical when heated has been linked to infertility, cancer and other diseases in lab animals. There are also gmos, artificial flavors, msg, and I don't know if you guys know this but regular corn farming requires a lot of pesticides. On top of all of that trans fats are still used by most popcorn brands even though trans fats have pretty much disappeared everywhere else since they're so strongly linked to heart attacks. And finally last but not least certain studies are starting to show that it might be a bad idea to Nuke any of your food not just microwavable popcorn. So yeah popcorn maybe the single worst food you can have for fat loss and for your health. Moving on.. we have Oreos and in general any type of cookies that you buy in a package like Chips Ahoy, keebler fudge cookies I think they're called. Now why are these so bad? Well all of the same things that applied to ice cream apply here as well. You will get an insulin Spike and it'll be impossible to burn fat until your insulin levels go back down. But something that makes this such a dangerous food to eat if you're trying to burn fat is the enormous calorie content. In just 6 Oreos we're looking at 270 calories and I bet that almost nobody eats just 6 Oreos. Oreos are addicting as soon as you eat one you know you're going to eat 20. If you eat a row which is typically how much people eat you're looking at 675 calories. Good luck burning that off. Oreos are super high in sugar fat and calories. That is definitely something you want to avoid while cutting body fat. Next we have soft drinks. Let me show you guys something this right here is peach flavored Snapple. And in one cup there are 200 calories and close to 48 grams of sugar or 12 teaspoons. You only really should be allowed a maximum of 6 to 9 teaspoons of sugar a day. You already went over with just one of these drinks. Now it's not only Snapple and I know that you guys already know that Pepsi coca cola Mountain Dew Hawaiian Punch brisk sprite and all that other canned soda.... I already know that you know that that's bad for you.... especially when you're trying to burn fat. But you might have not known that the orange juice and apple juice and in fact most juices that you see at the store are absolutely horrible for you. Apple juice has 24 grams of sugar in a cup. Granted that's half the amount that you're going to get from a cup of Snapple but thats still going to cause a major halt for your fat loss. Up next we have chips. Luckily lately there have been some Brands releasing chips that are actually not that bad for you. Unfortunately most of them still are pretty bad for you. Almost all chips are super high in salt, sugar, and fat. Also because they're cooked at such high temperatures it could cause the formation of carcinogens. Don't be fooled by the kettle cooked chips and the "natural"chips because .....it's the same shit. The one brand of chips that I've seen that I like are utz sweet potato chips. They just have peanut oil sweet potatoes and salt listed as the ingredients.

You guys keep asking us to show you what we eat each day, so I had a late start at the gym and time to film my mornings food prep. Just bare in mind I'm currently dieting on 2500 calories a day and today was a very low carb day. I don't eat that way everyday, so we will film another video of what a high carb days looks like for us. Also a more balanced approach for those of you who want to nail the basics. There are many ways to get in shape and this is what we finds work well for us as we have a relatively short time to diet at the moment. We have 3 low carb days like this a week, 2 of them being non training days. The rest will be med carb & at least 1 re-feed day that comes on legs days or which every session we work the hardest. Regardless of our approach the fundamentals are always the same REAL foods, as little processed food as possible. And most guys are wondering which foods help with reducing belly fat and what does a healthy diet look like. So in this video, I decided to bring all the foods out of the fridge and show you exactly what I eat. Key points: Before I list all the specific foods, it's important to debunk 2 BIG myths when it comes to burning belly fat. Myth #1 - Spot reducing fat. - This is a myth most people still believe. The truth is that we can't specifically target some area on our body and just burn fat from that area. There are no magical foods or supplements that can spot reduce your belly fat. The only thing we can do is systematically reduce the total body fat level of the entire body and eventually the belly fat will go away as well. The reduction of body fat requires a negative energy balance, essentially there's less energy coming in through food than the body needs to maintain all the activities. And in this situation, the body is forced to burn body fat as fuel. For most men the belly fat area will be the last one to go away, the process usually involves getting leaner in the arms, shoulders, calves, face, neck, chest before tapping into the stomach fat. So keep this in mind, it's not possible to "spot reduce" and specifically target belly fat. Myth #2 - If you eat "healthy" or as some people call it "clean" you'll lose body fat, and you don't have to worry about calories. This is entirely false, calories still matter and you it's certainly possible to consume enough calories that your body doesn't need to burn fat. Calories are still the primary determinant of body-weight change. There are no magic foods that will target belly fat or any other fat. Basing your diet primarily on whole healthy unprocessed foods will generally lead to better health (both physical and mental) and also make the process of losing fat easier. However, calories do count. If you want to lose fat, you need to be in a caloric deficit. Even at the extreme level i.e. The Twinkie diet, the person lost weight due to a caloric deficit despite eating only twinkies. And got healthier because lowering body fat. The main things you want to focus on to lose belly fat are: 1 - Negative energy balance combined with an adequate amount of protein on a daily basis 2- Progressive resistance training, meaning you're getting stronger in the gym 3 - Sufficient amount of sleep (7-9 hours) for optimal recovery. 4 - Be consistent with your caloric deficit 5 - Have most of your food come from whole healthy unprocessed sources with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean protein. 6 - Stay hydrated and don't fall for detox scams. Your kidney and livers are perfectly capable of getting the job done. As a rule of thumb, you want to base your diet 80% of whole healthy unprocessed foods and then leave that other 20% of calories to come from whatever else foods you want to eat. And Whey/Soy/Pea protein supplements if necessary. Carbohydrates: Oats, Rice, White Potato, Sweet Potato, Tortillas, Beans and different types of bread. Fats: Olive oil (for cooking and dressing if needed), all forms of nuts, avocado and whatever fat comes with protein. Fiber - Not a macronutrient but a critical part of every healthy diet. This is where most people fail, average American consumes only 15g of fiber per day. My favorite sources: Green peas, oats, whole grain bread and all kinds of vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, carrots, green lettuce) It's important to realize that none of these foods have magical properties. They're just foods that I really enjoy and have no problem eating on a regular basis. And for your own diet, you want to focus on the foods you like to eat.
