To do this, use a calorie calculator: http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html Just enter your sex, height, weight and age. For the majority of people I would suggest not using an activity adjustment. Just set to “sedimentary or little to no exercise” even if you engage in some form of exercise each day. These setting often misguide people to think they can eat more calories than they should/need to. • Once you have your daily maintenance calorie amount from the calculator, subtract 200 calories from it to put yourself in a slight caloric deficit. • Next you need to weigh/measure or track ALL of your food/calories during the day to stay within this calorie amount. (MyFitnessPal) is a great app to use. Try to be as exact as possible and not "eyeball" your food portions. • From here you can monitor your weight and if it’s not slightly dropping each week, subtract an additional 200 calories from your daily total allowance. On the flip side, if you’re losing too much (say 2 lbs or more each week) try adding 200 calories and continue to monitor and adjust accordingly. MOST ASKED QUESTION - Whats My Height, Age, and Weight. Height: 161.5cm - 5ft 3inches - grew an inch after weight loss, was 5"2 all my life till 17. Age: May 05 1994 - Its 2014 - I Turned 20 this year :/ BYEBYE TEEN LIFE D: Weight: My weight Fluctuates every now and then, Mainly because I am a woman, and we do have weight fluctuations quite frequently, also my body *morph* type is prone to fluctuations. Iam currently 60-63kgs, but mostly stay at 61 & 62. 63 being the highest in the middle of my monthly's for the most. HOW MANY CALORIES SHOULD YOU EAT? I personally eat 1200 cals a day but thats for my height, This doesn't apply to everyone as all women come in different shapes and sizes. What i can recommend is for you to find out your BMI and it will calculate everything for you depending on your height. Some people who saw my video got mistaken and assumed I've told all women to eat UNDER 1000 Cals, including men. In order to reduce the amount of assumptions i get and unnecessary notification that are rather unimportant as even me making a video falls of def ears to a few tempered humans, i thought of adding this into my description. Type into your "Google Toolbar" for a BMI calculator, and you shall be presented with one online. Also, notice how i said don't starve yourself. If i would say that, it would be so incoherent to saying to eat under 1000 cals which literally is STARVING YOURSELF. WHAT DID I SAY AT 11:20-11:25? I said "SOUP" can fill you Up. (btw soups with creams are Fattening). Foods That will help you see results in 2 weeks: Lemon / Lime Pineapples Apples Prunes (After or Before every meal {CAN ALSO BE USED FOR SNACKING). GreenTea ( For 3 - 4 months [MORNING + LATE AFTERNOON + EVENING] half an hour after every meal. Oolong Tea / Wulong Tea (After 3 - 4 months). half an hour after every meal. Honey + Lemon + Hot Water (Before Sleeping). TIPS & WARNINGS: Green Tea & Oolong is best from either a traditional Chinese market/store or Walmart. Do not add too much honey to your prior sleep drink because it can cause heartburn as normal honey does. Do not Eat over 5 - 6 Prunes a day. It might cause irritation to your bowl movement. Do not go overboard with Pineapples and Apples just because it helps burn fat. Everything should be eaten in healthy quantities. Fruits can cause uncomfortable bloating or a beautiful gassy BUM!!! hahahaha Eat frozen yogurt instead of regular Ice cream. Hope I haven't missed out any important Tips or Additional Information. The answer is quite simple: The first step is to setup when the goal is weight loss is to enter a caloric deficit through your diet. That means you need to be consuming less calories from food / drinks than your body need to maintain it's current weight. This forces your body to burn fat stores for energy. You can calculate your caloric intake using these methods: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7x5zzMGFr8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8nKEwrN9I0 And the second step is to provide your body with an adequate amount of protein. About 1 gram of protein per LBS of ideal weight is a good goal for your daily protein intake. Setup your protein intake like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIFRY_--YuU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-OVCYPWj3U Now on top of that you want to make sure that you're getting an adequate amount of sleep. 8 - 9 hours is of sleep recommended, and this is even more important if you're not performing any exercise. Adequate sleep will help you lose more fat while holding on to lean muscle as much as possible. And holding onto muscle will be harder since there's no resistance training. This means that you want to pick foods you can stick to for the long run while still being in that caloric deficit and getting your protein intake. Whether you decide to go higher carbohydrate, lower carbohydrate, paleo, keto, vegetarian, Mediterranean diet or vegan it won't matter at the end of the day as long as you're in a caloric deficit and you meet your protein needs while at the same basing your 80-90% on whole healthy unprocessed foods. Now, what happens when you try to lose weight (fat) without exercise. Here's a few things: - You don't build muscle and you'll most likely also lose muscle. This means even if you do lose a bunch of weight you probably won't end up with a great looking physique. - Have to eat less than if you were exercising. If you're mainly a sedentary individual with a classic 9-5 desk job your energy expenditure is generally quite low. Once you take our exercise out of the equation your caloric intake will typically need to be quite low to put you in a deficit. This makes the diet very hard to sustain because you'll feel a lot more hunger and won't get to eat a lot of food. - Getting a six pack is pretty much mission impossible. Unless you're extremely naturally gifted somehow to have a fairly decent amount of muscle mass and great genetics when it comes to fat loss you won't be seeing those shredded looking abs. - Have increased hunger cravings. Science is pretty clear on this, both cardio and weightlifting can suppress appetite. A recent meta-analysis http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27213481 that adding exercise to a diet had a markedly greater effect on reducing visceral fat (the fat in the midsection that surrounds the internal organs). And visceral fat has been implicated as a primary risk factor for chronic disease. One last point I wanna add is that gym isn't the only type of activity you can do. There's many different types of exercise and the key is to find something that you enjoy. Choose vegetables like lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cucumber, beams etc. Drink 8 glasses of water. Day 3 Eat both fruits and veggies. But exclude potatoes and bananas.
