These are some of my favorite videos by you - you're attitude towards dieting and exercise is so refreshing and not only makes me want to be healthier physically, but it motivates me to actually pay for attention to my mental stability.
tbh i think it's sorta irresponsible for someone who is very thin and has always been very thin to post a video about weight loss- some of this is more general healthy eating/lifestyle tips, and that's fine, but presenting it as weight loss tips is suggesting that she needs to lose weight, and idk it just really rubs me the wrong way. it's one thing when a person who lost a bunch of weight describes their journey, but for a teeny youtube celeb to tell me in a sponsored video to hawk some app, i'm a little bit like 🙄
I didn't realize that it's a bad thing to make sponsored videos. She needs money too! She got a wedding to plan!

To be honest this sounds really hard. I prefer go to the gym, working out daily rather than doing a strict diet. I lost 14kg without doing a strict diet, I just changed my lifestyle, exercise daily and eat more healthy food. But I still enjoy eating something greasy or unhealthy and having snacks on the weekend to give me some days off and satisfied my craving, but of course I still control what I eat. Indeed, I do agree that you need to schedule you meal so that it boosts you metabolism as our body are programmed to sense starvation. When your body sense a lack of food, your metabolism slow down which means fewer calories to burned over time and that could make it harder to lose weight. When you eat consistently following your scheduled time, it prevents you from hunger too. Also, never skip breakfast because it's important on giving you energy, it does helps you to lose weight as it helps curb your hunger throughout the day because you're already have good food in your system which make you are less likely to reach for the junk and having breakfast are actually healthier overall. Trust me, drinking water when you're hungry doesn't help, instead try having some fruits, I usually have some apples or papaya (papaya is high in fiber and has water content, both can help to promote regular and a healthy digestive track). I know it's hard to set your intention to exercise daily but once you over it, it's so much better than doing a strict diet and trust me when you do daily exercise you won't easily gain weight even you're eating more than u usually eat sometimes. I mean I only live once, I want to enjoy eating what I want without being afraid that I will gain another weight. Just try be more conscious of what you eat and how much you eat daily (not really a strict number of calories you have). However, if you are happy with strict diets than do it, it's yours to choose as long as you're happy. You know your body and yourself better than others :) Just choose what makes you happy though :)
Actually I’m truly upset cuz this is sponsored. This is literally the worst video “resisting the urge”?!? It is an urge for a reason if your body wanted it it’s because it wanted it do not punsish your body and then tell others to do the same. You’ve lost your originality and all your videos are sponsored and now are pushing horrible cultures. You’ve given in to being that same basic LA Lifestyle girl I’m sorry jenn but I’m physically distraught by what you’ve become and the lack of growth you exhibited .
Im extremely disappointed with this video because jenn you have an amazing platform and reach so many people at once. Losing weight doesn’t mean you’re healthy and diet culture is extremely dangerous and damaging and i honestly thought you would have learned this by now. Now this is not hate I hope people do not get mad at me I say this straight from the heart. You could have done a video on being healthy without pushing such horrible cultures. See beyond yourself, people will see this and think it’s okay and normal but the truth is that this just continues to push the idea that being a different weight is bad and unhealthy, that only skinny is beautiful, and that counting calories and starving yourself by not giving in to natural cravings and desires. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to eat and snack but you make it sound like it’s a bad thing. Please educate yourself on body politics.

I recently started working at a private gym, so after my shift I go and work out for a hour. I know it will take a while and i wont really see any result for a month, but i just have to keep up with it!!!!!
Love your videos so much and do not really care if they are sponsored, the one think I did not love about this app is that it is so based around calorie counting, and obsesively doing that can be bad for mental health. Of course if it is used for nutritional uses then that is great! And also I believe in balance in general✨

I’ve been watching Jenn since the beginning and it only makes me happy when she partners with bands because she has work YEARS to be where she’s at and she deserves it.
So let’s try to be a bit understanding. This is what she loves but it also is how she provides for herself 🤗
I think this is a tricky topic because I've heard different things when it comes to fitness and dieting. I've heard from personal trainers that the priority list should be strength training > cardio > diet since apparently building muscle will help your body burn more calories at rest. Of course, everyone's body is different and I understand Jenn is just explaining what works for her, but I definitely feel wary when bloggers talk about fitness and health this way. I would've appreciated it more if Jenn just talked about the app and just about overall mentality when it comes to taking care of her body more than her outlining 10 rules she follows. Mental discipline is important, but 'maintaining your figure' should not be the motivation to be fit and healthy.
Other than that, thanks for sharing Jenn!
Ah love your channel since day 1! Your 1st and 7th tips I've also mentioned in my video. It was very helpful to set a meal schedule, and if I was hungry after the cut off time, I would eat a low cal veggie like a cucumber 🤗
hey jenn! love your videos and content always. sponsored videos are great too as they introduce us to cool new products on the market. i even started using lifesum for a bit after your last video with them. my only observation is that some of the videos are beginning to seem commercial. my favorite thing about youtube and your channel is your personal touch. imo maybe less perfectly filled scenes and instead throw in a insta story of you post barry’s with a jumping amy. lol just a thought ... a very clean and aesthetic video though so definitely a lot to appreciate 🙂
Work out in the morning but need to wake up like at 6.30 in the morning to commute for 9 am work. Then at the evening you'll be too tired for anything. Then only come home at 8pm 😪Yeah I'm complaining. But i tried my best to kick my butt for at least once a week work out on the evening 😪. Its a struggle guys for most of us
Hey Jen! I've been hitting the gym 3/4 times a week, eating super clean and controlling my portions. I basically have the same eating schedule as you! I've noticed good changes in my body. My hips are slimmer, arms and tummy leaner. My body feels great and my clothes are fitting well. The only issue is the number on the scale is not decreasing. I feel like that makes me sad whenever I step on Bc these good changes are occurring. Since high school, I lost 30 lbs and I'm struggling to lose the last 15 lbs. I'm entering my 3rd year of college. gorjana21 Hey! Im not Jenn but i think i know why you're not losing weight! The changes in your body confirm that you've lost fat but the reason why you cant notice a change on the scale is because you're gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat so it compensates for the loss thats happening and keeps you at a stable weight.
I would recommend you to look over it bc whats really important is that you like how you look and the fact that your body feels great!! As long as you keep a healthy lifestyle, a number doesnt mean anything ❤ cheers!!
Always when I‘m stressed bc of University etc I‘m going to eat lot of chocolate 😭 now I will try to reduce it bc I can‘t stop it directly. i beg all of you to please be careful with fitness/diet apps. keeping count of every single calorie you consume can easily become an obsession or addiction. it can also be harmful to people around you, for example if you're going out with friends and you keep counting/listing everything and taking out your phone to mark all your calories on your diet app. i'm not saying everyone who uses an app like that does this, but just be careful. be mindful of not only yourself but also the people around you. i personally have body dysmorphic disorder and i struggle with my weight/eating/body image every day, so even a small thing can mess me up. for example a while ago i was having coffee with a friend and she said "i walked all the way over here so i've earned this cupcake", and it sounds harmless and she meant nothing by it but then i immediately felt like i hadn't "earned" my food bc i'd taken the bus. idk. just, be gentle to yourself and also keep things like this in mind when you talk about diet/fitness around your friends/family. thank you. x
