This video is pretty much common sense and scientific fact. There's nothing controversial about it whatsoever, so please look elsewhere if you want to engage in debate about weight, size, models etc etc. I have been a fashion model for nearly twelve years and have always been a healthy size. I don't follow any weird or wonderful diets, I just try to eat well and sensibly.
This is NOT the video for you if you're looking for crazy diets or tips on how to be unhealthily skinny - that's not what I'm about. If, however, you just want to eat more healthily and get in shape then perhaps this might be of some use. I hope so! I already love this video two minutes in. I know I'm really late to the party, but thank you for all the positive comments at the start. I have always had dreadful body image and, like so many, have struggled with dieting. Until I changed my attitude about food, started ignoring the media attitude about weight and beauty, and completely abandoned the word diet, I was miserable. Full stop. Miserable. You are very inspiring and give excellent advice!
I wish I enjoyed cooking (and so does my husband!). I need some type of healthy eating plan that isn’t going to stress me out. My husband likes and needs three square meals a day, and I can get by on a couple tablespoons of almond butter and some fruit for a meal, or a veggie burger popped in the microwave without a bun. I know I need to make some changes, but not sure how to do healthy, hearty, quick, and easy at the same time. It’s definitely a sticking point in our marriage.

This is awesome! I've just started my weight loss journey. It's so hard but you're so spot on about not using the word "diet". I keep telling myself it's a lifestyle change! Lifestyle change! Lifestyle change! Salads! No McD's! 😆
I've gotta lose about 80 pounds to reach my goal weight of 120 and have lost 4 over 20 days. It's not easy but it's a whole new world and I know that models are the real deal in maintaining a healthy body consistently.

Also the video I saw right before this was of Adriana Lima about how she doesn't eat anything 9 days before the Victoria's Secret fashion show. It's pathetic! That's not healthy at all! And I can't believe that's the first video on YouTube for "Model diet"! Crazy bitch. I hope she's not doing that anymore.
Very informative. Its chock full of great ideas and recipes that allow a person to eat tasty food and yet lose weight and each recipe includes the nutritional value. 6:16 tip #4 "Is eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full..." I don't know if anyone else notice this error, but as soon as I heard that, I knew it was incorrect. People... Do not eat until you're full unless you're wishing for a belly. "はら はち ぶ" meaning "hara hachi bu" in romanji and "eat until you're 80% full" in english. This phrase will benefit you guys way more than what was stated in the vid😂

I appeared to be highly worried to get rid of my extra unwanted fat. I tried out several options but none of them was much useful. Then one of my mates suggested me Google "fizy unique plan". Got wonderful effects!! Dropped 11.5 pounds.
Please read books by Geneen Roth etc. as they go into more detail about it all. Even Paul Mckenna has a book on 'intuitive eating' but does not go into as much detail in emotional side of it.There is another book I read that I found v good, if interested. Will check title and post it later. But you can be normal size, slim if that us right for you and have a good easy relationship with all types of food.
I've always eaten healthy, but lately I've been eating way more fruits and vegetables. If I have a bad day or eat crappy, it really affects my mood the next day. Sometimes, it's worth it. Most days it isn't. Anyway, more health related videos please. I love how you think about and explain things. I feel like your always sort of a step ahead.
Very helpful tips. My husband and I are going into modelling we have both been accepted and passed our assesments. and I'm going into tv and advertising. The model company I went to accept whatever size we are and that's what I'm happy about. They were more interested in what talents and skills I have. Very good tips though.
As a model (plus-size), I can fully say that I enjoy three meals a day and fruit and nuts for snacks, I'm 165lbs and I'm healthy as can be. It's all about excersizing truthfully, just excersizing a looooot
It's original, it gives the model character, rather than ALL of them having straight, perfect teeth. Then people would be asking ," Why do people always make models have straight teeth, why can't they all be diffrent :/". See my point?
What about the emotional side. If I feel down I binge eat and end up eating about 10 chocolate bars in one go. Or if I'm bored I end up eating. But at the same time I want to feel nice in clothes and feel attractive. I want to loose weight. I find it so hard to resist sugar. I don't know how some girls do it.
When you're craving that sugar its because you're low on carbohydrates, fats can fill you up yes, but the main source of them problem is carbohydrates. Glucose = sugar = carbohydrates. Chocolate/fast food is the carbs + fat, just go straight for the sugar and have some good fruit, if you haven't already check out freeleethebananagirl, she explains it so well :]

oh nice, I been thinking of trying ballet too. its such slow movements but you sweat bullets, ill have to try that one, I been looking for some good ones. I do yoga too but just the mainstream tara styles lol, don't do it as much as I should though
I do Elise Gulan's ballet conditioning. I have been thinking of trying ballet beautiful though. I also do some free ones on YouTube... My other big thing is vinyasa flow yoga, but not anything that builds bulk.
+Chooselove 4all oh that's so cool. And I actually got the same results that's why I don't overdo it in weight training. And I also felt way hungrier like you were saying. What ballet conditioning do you do? Would it happen to be ballet beautiful?
